The tractors from the M5002N series are equipped with 4-cylinder Kubota V3800 3.8-liter engines. These engines comply with the strict Stage V emissions standard and deliver between 74 and 115 horsepower (depending on the model). The main advantages of Kubota engines are their long service life, low fuel consumption, and quiet operation. For efficient and convenient work, there are two easily adjustable engine RPM memory buttons.

The Kubota M5002N is available with two types of transmissions. The first option offers 18 forward and 18 reverse gears, while the second, more convenient option provides 36 forward and 36 reverse gears with a powershift feature. A button located on the gear lever in the 36 x 36 transmission replaces the need for the clutch pedal when shifting through the main 6 gear steps. The gears are arranged in three ranges. A transport speed of 40 km/h is achieved at 20% reduced engine RPM, which saves fuel and extends the machine's service life.

Creeper gears are standard on the tractor, allowing a minimum speed of 0.26 km/h at 2400 RPM. The Kubota M5002N also comes standard with an electrohydraulic reverser, enabling easy forward/reverse direction changes without using the clutch pedal.

Compared to the previous series, the cabin interior has been redesigned to offer an even more comfortable working environment. Standard cabin equipment includes a seat with pneumatic suspension and air conditioning. The cabin is spacious for its size and provides excellent all-around visibility. Operators who frequently get in and out of the tractor will appreciate the absence of a central tunnel.

With a Category II three-point hitch and a lifting capacity of 2,300 kg, the Kubota M5002N can easily and quickly handle a wide range of implements. It comes standard with two pairs of hydraulic outlets, which can be upgraded to five. The PTO operates at standard speeds of 540/540E rpm.

The Kubota M5002N tractor can now be equipped with a suspended front axle for even greater comfort and productive operation. The suspension stiffness can be adjusted in three preset levels using a button on the right-hand panel. This allows the suspension to be adapted to specific working conditions and attached implements.

The front axle with bevel gear final drives makes the Kubota M5002N a highly agile tractor. Kubota's patented Bi-Speed system, available exclusively from Kubota, allows for turning in very tight spaces. When the front wheels are turned at an angle of 35°, the Bi-Speed system nearly doubles the speed of the front wheels compared to the rear wheels. As a result, the turning radius is only 3,950 mm. The Bi-Speed system can be activated or deactivated at any time with the push of a button.

The Kubota M5002N is also available in a cabless version with ROPS. The advantages of this design include quick and easy entry and exit, as well as an unobstructed 360-degree view of implements and crops. All controls are ergonomically positioned on the right side next to the driver's seat. All switches, controls, and the dashboard are waterproof. The protective frame can be easily folded down to operate in environments with limited working height, such as greenhouses, net-covered orchards, or beneath tree canopies.
